The Marwick family had a light, bright, exposed brick extension to the rear of their home – yet the dream was to blend a timeless, characterful kitchen into this space. Working together we chose a modern palette of Slate and Porcelain, and our timeless in-frame Cranbourne collection of furniture to create this tailored look.
This in-frame design exudes a detailed, hand-crafted feel – thanks to the soft Ash grained finish, and fine border and Ovolo beading trimming every door. A softer take on black and white, this palette gives a warmer heritage feel – lovingly accented by traditional antique bronze cup handles, and timeless, marble-style quartz worksurfaces and splashback.
A quietly commanding space, this is very much the social hub of the home. A timber lined bi-fold pantry sits prominently behind the island – designed to be kept open to proudly display the treasured glass collection; in easy reach of the island champagne trough and the guests gathered round.
